KEYNOTE Professor Robert Chilcott

KEYNOTE PRESENTATION – “Exposure and Decontamination of Casualties and Emergency Responders to Toxic Materials”

Professor Chilcott has been Chair of Toxicology at the University of Hertfordshire since 2008 and has over 25 years’ experience conducting research in the area of CBRN and Hazmat medical countermeasures.

He has been involved as subject matter expert for a number of UK, EU and US initiatives, has led international research collaborations and has ongoing and active collaborations with various Universities. Most recently, he has led the production of new US federal guidance on the emergency services’ response to chemical incidents (“PRISM”). Professor Chilcott has published a number of peer-reviewed articles, patents, text books and book chapters relating to chemical warfare agents, dermal toxicology and decontamination.
